These distorted illustrated caricatures has taken these well know disney icons of the 20 th century and added that extra special touch of 21st Century anxiety with just a dash of information overload. Anyway these deformed versions being cast in a poor light are not portrayed to be fools, dumb and flat out rediculous as the originals really are. I have been working on this “Disney distort” serie for about 2 years and it is not finished yet. Meanwhile some of the figures were featured on Fanboy TV, TMDG, Zuppi mag (Brazil) and the UP Box from China.
I won the first prize of the Puma Fridge iman contest. PUMA Fridge is really a community hang out for young people, a move made by PUMA Latin America (Yes, the sports brand) to recognize the fact that the internet generation does not only want to know about what a brand produces, but also participate in generating and uploading their own custom content.

EUROPE BY DESIGNERS is an international artistic project whose aim is to unveil a multitude of images of Europe from the inside and from the outside. Design as the expression of a cultural vision, a political vision or a simple and unposed feeling… Design and its diversity as a new way to catch Europe. More than 600 contributions coming from 47 countries were received so Iam more than proud and happy to take part in the project with my “Lisbonian made of tile” character.
Finally I got some “Tegra” issues. This is an Innovative periodical publication I have been collaborating so far since I won the third prize of their postcard annual contest, produced by designers, photographers and artists in Buenos Aires who are using a postcard format to create a new visual impact. Art and themes are often ironic and filled with urban social, cultural satire. These are “Sex” and “Sabores porteños” topics and my illos are into these issues too. Edited outside the 350 grams message conventional standard.
“You go out in the street and they are everywhere you see. There are ones fried, rosted and of bulb. In lottery tickets, home appliences stores and enterprises. Smiling, with cowboy hats, strongs, surfing, worried. Chickens. In all sizes, shapes and colors”.This project managed by Juan Bentancourt from RC intends to document in a book on a long term basis, all the applications of the rooster in the Costa Rican popular graphic expression, or what the artist calls “autochthonous urban art”.
I have been collaborating with Revista Colectiva since about two years ago. They are an amazing collective magazine of artists of the world presenting new trends in art, design and culture based in Costa Rica.

Designed and compiled by international design studio FL@33 and published by Laurence king, the book features more than 100 artists, illustrators, photographers, designers, and studios/collectives from around the world. Thehas just been released and an image of mine is featured within! Iam veryproud to take part of it.
